Josh McClung

Hi, I’m Josh, originally from Birmingham, Alabama. Before becoming a full time missionary I worked as an engineer with a degree from Auburn University (War Eagle!) During those time I also served as leader of the mission team at our church, where I experienced several short term mission trips. 

My journey with YWAM began when our family attended the Family DTS in Tyler, Texas, a life-changing time that deepened our call to missions. After completing our training, we served on staff at the Tyler base for two years before God led us to join the team in Ustroń, Poland, where I now have the privilege of serving as the base director.

I’m passionate about discipling families and equipping the next generation to live fully for Jesus and walk out their call to missions. There’s something powerful about seeing entire households step into their God-given purpose and be launched into the nations. When I’m not involved in training or leading, I enjoy running, biking, playing football (soccer), traveling, and spending time with my family. It’s a joy to serve in a place where we can grow as a community and see lives transformed by God’s love.
