Hello! I’m Megan, and I’m from a small town in East Texas. I’ve been with YWAM since 2019, but I felt a call to missions years earlier, at just 16. I knew that eventually doing a DTS would help equip me to walk in that calling. I did my DTS in Kona in 2019, followed by SOE in Tyler, TX in 2020, and then joined staff at YWAM Tyler. I served there for four years in many areas, primarily within the Training department, staffing DTS and SOEs, discipling students, and leading outreaches. Through those years, I discovered a deep passion for walking with people through the ups and downs of daily life, having intentional conversations about the Lord, building community, and experiencing God’s heart on the mission field.
I first came to Poland in 2022 during the war, where we served Ukrainian refugees. I came back in 2023 and during that time, something in me came alive in a way I hadn’t experienced before. I saw a wave of teenagers on fire for Jesus—real, raw, and hungry for more of Him. That experience marked me. I started having honest conversations with friends here about what it might look like to move here and serve long-term. Over the next year, the Lord brought so much peace and confirmation, and I officially moved to Poland in March 2025. I’m still in awe of what He’s doing here and am so thankful to be a part of it.
At YWAM Ustroń, I serve in a variety of ways—preparing spaces for people to rest and meet with the Lord, cooking meals, hosting teams, and mentoring those who walk through our doors. Being on a small team allows me to be involved in many areas, and I truly love creating an atmosphere of home, joy, and connection. My heart beats especially for young women—to help them process life, heal from the past, and realize that Jesus really is the One who saves and restores, by His grace alone. I dream of building a vibrant community of believers who do life together—praying, growing, celebrating, and supporting one another in every season. I believe Christ-centered community changes everything.
